Fierce Nature Sun Balm is made with pure organic tallow and can be used as a daily face cream during the summer, and for face and body during periods of high sun exposure.
 
Non Nano Zinc oxide combined with the fat soluble vitamins and antioxidants of tallow, naturally help prevent and protect from sun damage without the harsh chemicals.
 
Fierce Nature use non-nano zinc as the basis for their sun protection balm, and this is a mineral that works to deflect the rays of the sun.  This is unlike the chemicals used in mainstream lotions which work through a chemical reaction of absorbing the rays of the sun when they hit your skin.  We recommend avoiding chemicals like oxybenzone.
 
Most SPF testing companies measure the efficacy of these chemicals in reaction to the sun.  As Fierce Nature don’t use chemicals at all, this reaction tested for doesn’t occur in their formula. 
 
Fierce Nature do however use a recipe that equates to a protection of 20 SPF for their sun balm and stick, but like with any mineral sun cream the more whiter the cream, when applied the higher the block out. 
 
Non-Nano Zinc oxide is also amazing for eczema, nappy rash and acne.
