My new venture is growing organically and as with all new projects you never spend as much time on it as you would like to. So taking the leap and doing my first stall with Hurst Rethink https://hurstrethink.org/ at the Hurst Village Market gave me the kick start I needed!
It was lovely to chat with people as they visited my stall and took an interest in the products. I had really good feedback on the idea of bringing UK made, natural skin care products all under one roof.
More people are thinking about what they put on their skin, for themselves and for their children. It's good to stop and check what's in your deodorant or moisturiser, as it's not new news that some ingredients can be harmful to us.
Having run my own swim school for nearly 10 years I feel strongly about promoting those who take the plunge to go it alone, which is why I am keen to support small UK businesses.
I really enjoyed my morning selling great products and engaging with the customers. Now I'm looking forward to doing it all over again.
